BATCA Peace Prayers 2017

Date: November 16, 2017

BATCA Prayers for Peace 14th November 2017

Every year Balham and Tooting Community Association (BATCA) holds a multi-faith prayer vigil for peace. Faith leaders and congregations of many faiths assemble outside Tooting Broadway tube station to take turns to pray for peace, and passers by are encouraged to light candles for peace and join in.

This year’s ceremony was held on the evening of Tuesday 14th November.

We don’t know who everyone is in the picture, but readers will recognise our vicar, Revd Philippa Boardman MBE. Also present are Kate Allan, Secretary of BATCA, and Revd Dr Andrew Davey and Revd Sarah Jackson of Holy Trinity and St Augustine’s.
