Pentecost Cross of Prayer

Image
The time between Ascension Day (May 21st) and Pentecost (May 31st) is designated by our Archbishops as 'Thy Kingdom Come' - a special season of prayer.

The church railings have inspiring laminated prayers tied to them.

There is also a bucket with white ribbon for you to write your own prayer and tie it to the railings. Bring a pen! If you can't think of a prayer, write Holy Spirit in another language and tie it to the Cross.

The Cross has become a Pentecost Cross. Tie a fire- coloured ribbon onto it as your own prayer - and remember to take your anti-bac with you. There is a bucket of ribbons or feel free to bring your own..

Many thanks to Jane Cooper for organising this and all who have contributed.
