Death Cafe @ SMM - NEW DATES!
Death Cafe - new autumn dates
Death affects us all. Yet we rarely have opportunities to talk about it and explore our feelings and experiences with others. Death Cafe is a safe and non-judgemental space to do that.
Death Cafe is a national initiative with trained facilitators to talk about this sometimes 'taboo' subject.
The Revd April Keech, a facilitator trained at St Joseph's Hospice in Hackney who works in a parish in the East End of London will lead three Death Cafes at St Mary Magdalene this autumn, hosted by Sally Roberts.
These will take place in the Parish Hall from 11am to 12.30pm on.
Saturday September 19th
Saturday October 24th
Saturday November 28th
Please be assured we will follow all guidelines to keep people safe in these Covid19 times.
Revd. April writes:
Whether it is the Covid19 pandemic, the recent loss of family or a friend long ago, we all face death and loss. A death cafe is a non-judgemental place to listen and share our experiences of death and loss.
Following government guidelines places are limited. Book your ticket with the link below.
