Saturday 11th December, doors open 4pm

The annual Christmas Tree Festival at St Mary Magdalene is a community festive favourite, which unfortunately we missed last year because of Covid. But this year it is back including beautiful trees, Santa’s grotto and a great prize draw.

There's nothing more magical than strolling through the Victorian church with a glass of mulled wine, a mince pie, surrounded by a forest of sparkling Christmas trees. Each tree is sponsored by a local business, a charity, a local family or group, with its own unique and imaginative decoration. The kids enjoy some fun activities and even get to visit Santa in his grotto and get a present. Plus there are refreshments and stalls including beautiful floral decorations, home produce and craft. Make sure you visit before stocks run out, perhaps let the children enjoy craft activities or enjoy the model trains (steam and clockwork), while you sup a cup of tea or some mulled wine.

The Christmas Tree prize draw is also back with some fantastic prizes including:

• Year's Annual Membership to National Art Pass, National Trust or Kew Gardens

• £100 Philglass & Swiggot Voucher

• Amethyst Pendant

• Welsh Whisky

• Bottle of Martini Rosso

• 3x £20 Dog Grooming Studio voucher

Please share the prize draw link with family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, strangers….everyone!
